Stephane Bellfoy
Camp director and instructor
A proud and devoted father of his two boys, Stephane continues to pursue his passion of coaching volleyball. For the past five years, several colleagues and he have developed a well-structured and fun volleyball camp for students of the game.
Over the years, Stephane has had the opportunity to coach both boys and girls aged ten to eighteen and ranging in skill level from beginner to advanced. His 15 years of volleyball coaching experience has taught him that winning or loosing does not matter, but changing children’s lives with great learning experiences does. As a coach, he wants his athletes to evolve. They will learn through their mistakes as well as understand that they must make sacrifices along the way while putting forth an honest effort at all times.
Stephane is a high school teacher with 14 years of teaching experience at É.S.P. De La Salle and now Gisèle-Lalonde . He has taught such subjects as Drama, English, Sciences and of course Physical Education. Lately, his genuine teaching subject and specialty is fitness and conditioning. Thus, he has become a well respected and sought after trainer to his students along with high performance athletes in the Eastern Ottawa region.
Stephane thinks that through sports (if done right) you can transform communities and most importantly change children’s lives. Though he enjoys teaching kids and adolescents the specifics of physical education and volleyball, he feels they are solely his medium which enables his athletes and students to learn the important things in life; team work, responsibility, respect, dedication, achieving personal goals and so much more.
Yours truly,
Stephane Bellfoy

Yves Leroux
Head Instructor
Yves, a very passionate teacher, coach and player, has been working at De La Salle High School since year 2000. He devotes his time to his students and athletes who wants to persevere in what they have undertake.
Yves has been playing volleyball for the past 20 years. He played in the top tiers in OCVL for several years and has participated in over 100 volleyball tournaments in Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City. He also played beach volleyball for 10 years at AA/Open levels. Yves has been coaching the Junior and Senior Boys for the last 10 years at De La Salle High School.
What he loves about coaching is the progression athletes can do through out goal settings, discipline and learning opportunities. His coaching philosophy is you must practice and train hard to gain your space. You have to respect yourself and others, take full responsabilities and learn to be a great communicator. Discipline yourself so no one else has to. Change is a must and you have to handle success like you handle failure. But remember, being patient is the key to success !!! Set goals and take time to develop and write down both short and long term goals. Think you can ; work hard. Be the best that you can be and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
One of his favorite quote is :
"Success is about having, excellence is about being. Success is about having money and fame, but excellence is being the best you can be." - Mike Ditka
Best Regards,
Yves Leroux

Suzie Routhier
Instructor
Suzie, an accomplished professional, is as passionate about her teaching job as she is about her extracurricular activities. Being involved in her community is one of the most enriching experiences that she has lived so far. Having contributed to many sports camps (GG’s and Mavericks), Suzie has been coaching at this particular camp for two years.
She started coaching as soon as she left high school and is now at her 9th coaching year. At her fourth year at Ottawa University, she had the privilege of completing an internship with the GG girls’ volleyball team. Since then, her coaching career has led her to work with different age categories throughout the female volleyball teams. She is now a physical education teacher at É.S.P. De
La Salle where she motivates her students to run and to be active as a part of their life balance.
As an athlete, a coach and a teacher, the most important things she preaches are passion and balance. You need passion to have goals and to achieve success, but you also need balance to be able to have a better sense of fulfilment in your life.
Best regards,
Suzie Routhier
